Ryan is an Audit Partner and a member of the Management Committee of Purvis, Gray and Company, LLP. He currently serves on the Quality Control Team and as a Concurring Review Team member. Ryan is responsible for providing auditing services to a wide variety of clients and industries with a concentration in the governmental and nonprofit sector.  Some of his experience includes audits of municipalities, counties, school districts, special districts, and rural electric utilities. His experience has helped aid several of his governmental clients in obtaining a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. Also, he has performed numerous audits of grants under the Federal Single Audit Act and Florida Single Audit Act for governmental entities.

Ryan graduated from Florida State University in 1998, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Accounting. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Florida Governmental Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), and Association of Government Accountants (AGA).

Ryan has spoken to numerous groups on governmental and non-profit accounting and auditing topics, including In-house CPE classes and the local chapters of the FGFOA.

Ryan is currently involved in his community and has recently served as President of the Sunset Rotary Club of Tallahassee, Treasurer of Rotary District 6940 and Chairman and Treasurer of Southern Scholarship Foundation, Inc.

When away from work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, playing the guitar and the piano and rooting for the Florida State Seminoles.
