As a Partner at Purvis Gray, Michael Heald has diverse experience in public accounting, financial, and business consulting with a variety of companies and industries. As an auditor and partner in public accounting, he worked closely with business owners, CEOs, and CFOs to assist them with running more profitable and successful businesses. His industry expertise includes technology, manufacturing and distribution services, government contracting, SEC-reporting companies, and employee benefit plans.

 

After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 1997, Michael began his career as an auditor with BDO USA, LLP (BDO) and later with a local affiliate of BDO. He spent close to two years as the Florida Regional Controller for a publicly-held homebuilder and recently was the CFO of a publicly-held technology company, In 2017, he founded MRH Accounting & Consulting, LLC (MRH) to help small business owners and their companies succeed. 

 

Michael takes pride in being involved in local organizations, particularly those with a mission to support children and education. He is currently a Member of the Accounting Advisory Board for Seminole State College, past Board Member and Treasure and current Finance Committee Member for Leadership Seminole and a past Board Member of Seminole County Public Schools Foundation.

 

During his free time, he spends time hanging with his family, golfing with friends, volunteering at his church (St. Peter's of Lake Mary), and watching the Green Bay Packers. Go PACK!
